The traffic control department will release the traffic forecast and travel tips for next week based on the recent traffic situation and data analysis.
1. Forecast of traffic hotspots next week
(1) Large business districts and shopping malls will attract a large number of passengers.
At the end of the year, activities such as discounts and promotions held by large business districts and shopping malls are expected to attract a large number of passengers, and the traffic conditions of surrounding roads will be affected to some extent. Especially on weekdays and weekends, large business districts such as Blue Harbor-Sanlitun, Joy City, Outlets, Heshenghui, Xihongmen Huiju, Century Jinyuan, wanda plaza are hot, and the traffic around some roads and parking lots is prone to concentration.

(2) The traffic pressure on the ring road and tie line in the peak urban area is prominent in the morning and evening of working days.
During the morning and evening rush hours, traffic is expected to be slow on the second, third and fourth ring roads, the east, west and north fifth rings, the east sixth ring road, Caihuying South Road, Jianwai Street, Tonghuihe North Road, Xizhimen North Street, Wanquanhe Road, Lianshi East Road, Lianhuachi West Road and other bridge nodes, such as Xiaojiahe Bridge, Tianning Temple Bridge and Wanghe Bridge. In the morning rush hour, Jingliang Road is eastward. On the expressway, there will be tidal traffic that enters Beijing early and leaves Beijing late, such as Beijing-Tibet Expressway, Jingcheng Expressway, Jingtong Expressway, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and Airport Expressway. The traffic pressure is most prominent on Monday morning peak and Friday night peak when the tail numbers are limited to 4 and 9.

Special reminder: In December, the number of citizens who commute by car in the morning and evening peak hours has increased, and minor scraping accidents and faulty cars have also occurred from time to time. It is suggested that citizens and friends should avoid the peak hours when traveling in the morning and evening peak hours, and it is best to take public transportation such as subway.
(C) Ski areas are prone to short-term traffic concentration.
As the weather turns cold, skiing and other winter sports become more popular, the tourist flow to the ski resorts such as Jundushan, Nanshan, Huaibei, yunfo mountain, Yuyang and Lianhua Mountain will be larger, and the traffic around the ski resorts and the Beijing-Tibet, Daguang and Jingping expressways connecting the urban areas will increase. In addition, the number of citizens and friends who drive from Beijing-Tibet Expressway and Jingxin Expressway to Chongli skiing and entertainment during the weekend also shows an increasing trend. The Beijing-Tibet Expressway and Jingxin Expressway have tidal traffic from Saturday morning to morning and from Sunday afternoon to evening. It is suggested that citizens who ski and relax stagger the travel peak to avoid the troubles of waiting in line and finding parking spaces. Here, I also remind the citizens and friends that the traffic conditions around most ski resorts are limited. Please pass in order when vehicles queue up, and don’t borrow the opposite lane to overtake.

(D) The traffic pressure around the school during the morning rush hour and the hospital during the morning hours is high.
During the morning rush hour, the traffic pressure around primary and secondary schools is always relatively high, and the peak appears at 7: 15-7: 45. It is best to leave more than half an hour in advance or take public transportation such as subway.

In terms of hospitals, the traffic pressure around Tongren Hospital, Beijing Hospital, Cancer Hospital, Stomatological Hospital and Children’s Hospital is relatively high, and the bus time is from 7: 00 am to 11: 00 am on weekdays. When the parking spaces in the campus are saturated, you can choose the parking lots of surrounding buildings and business districts to park your vehicles at the right time.

In addition, Beijing Exhibition Hall, National Convention Center, Old Country Exhibition Hall and Agricultural Exhibition Hall will hold exhibition activities in the near future, when the traffic pressure will increase and the surrounding roads will be short-term traffic concentration. Please wear masks according to the requirements of the organizers.
Second, travel and safety tips
The traffic control department reminds that the temperature has been low recently, so citizens and friends should maintain their vehicles in time, replace antifreeze, engine oil and antifreeze glass water, check the tire condition and keep the vehicles in the best condition. Specially remind citizens and friends who drive new energy vehicles to pay attention to cruising range. When the traffic around the business circle is concentrated and the internal parking lot is saturated, you can choose the regular parking spaces around you in time to avoid affecting the traffic of others.
When traveling, please pay attention to the real-time traffic information released by Beijing traffic police through official Weibo, radio and other channels. It is suggested to avoid the rush hour when commuting by car on weekdays, or to travel by public transport such as subway. Avoid the vicinity of primary and secondary schools in the morning rush hour, avoid the vicinity of hospitals in the morning, and avoid the slow-moving sections affected by accidents and broken-down cars in time. In winter, the light conditions are not good during the morning and evening rush hours, so you should turn on the low beam and use the high beam as little as possible to avoid affecting others’ travel.
In addition, citizens and friends are reminded to warm up in advance before skiing, skating and other sports to avoid injury and increase clothing appropriately.
